I am Alive!!!

To all that have checked out my blog!!! Sorry that I have neglected you...Thanks for being so patient. I will have to get some pics up for you...

So if I am correct I haven't written well since November...Good Grief!!! Well a lot has happened since then.

Where to start...hmm. Well first things first, for those who have been to our home, you know that we have giant living room and up until recently there was no furniture to fill this room...Yes you read right!!! Until recently...Right before Christmas we got a beautiful leather couch and chair(my Christmas present). I love them... It might not be the most exciting thing on this post for you all, but I am excited...

Christmas was wonderful!!! We got lots and lots of snow....I loved it...Didn't like shoveling it, but I love looking outside and seeing the snow on the tree branches....I loved that we had a "White Christmas". During the Christmas season, Joel, Elle, Grandma(my mom), and I go to the "Dollar Store", for the kids shopping of presents for everyone else. I love to see them thinking of other people and getting excited about the presents they bought and and excited to give it to them...Elle's favorite gift to give someone was "glow sticks". With her thought process, you never know what you might get!!!

Vince and Joel spent one day on Christmas vacation doing a community day...They met up with a bunch of people from our church and basically did whatever task was given to you. Vince and Joel ended up shoveling snow from people's driveway!!! Joel loves serving people, he came hope exhausted but happy....I love that about him...

We all had a great Christmas...we all got really spoiled!!! Vince a chain saw!!! Elle Polly Pockets, and a doll!!! Joel a BB gun(if he hears "You'll shoot your eye out" one more time, I think he will cry")!!! And of course I already told you what I got...LEATHER COUCHES!!!

Christmas time we take a break from Homeschooling...which was nice, but the time was quickly filled up with all the things you don't get done during the week and weekend!!! On the Sunday before Vince had to go back to work we all stayed in our Pj's...I read a book, Vince and Joel put together Joel's lego Batman car, and Elle organized the legos, much to her father and brother's dismay...I think I got up to clean the kitchen and warm up leftovers for dinner....Later in the evening we watched a movie!!! We were all so tired!!!

We live right next to a sledding hill called "Cherry Hill"!!! The kids love the sledding!!! My girlfriend and I have pretty sweet set up. We bring out lawn chairs and park them at the bottom of the hill and watch all the crazy kids come down...The hill causes some anxiety I must say, lots of crashes!!! I quiz the kids on exactly what "bailing" means in the world of sledding. The thought that I cling on to is the Fire Station is right in front of the hill...Fireman, paramedics are just moments away... It gets me through the anxiety...well OK that and maybe something yummy in a coffee mug...As I was saying...my girlfriend and I have our lawn chairs and watch all the kids go down the hill...We have talked about getting a "air horn", and score cards!!! Sounds like fun!!!! To my girlfriend, a must do when it snows again!!!

We are all back to our schedule, well at least we are trying to be!!! Homeschooling started up again, I always have big plans on how I am going to do things, and my kids are going to be the smartest kids in the entire world!!! Well I already think they are pretty smart, but my core reason for homeschooling I would have to say has nothing to do with how good of an education my child will get(who I am will make sure they will get a good one). One of the main reasons is building and nurturing their character!!! Helping them stay strong in what is wrong and what is right....Helping them stay strong in who they are, and to be confident that they have a purpose in this crazy world...OK well I can get carried away in more of that...so I will change the subject...To my friends that support me when I need to vent thanks...for saying that I am not alone and thanks for telling me to "pull my big girl panties up" and deal with my problem...and then walking along side of me!!!

Mom and Dad are "snowbirding"!!! I haven't seen them this excited about something in along time!!! I am really happy for them, I am going to miss them...We did get them a camera for Christmas, Mom got a laptop, and they have their cell phone!!! What more do they need? Now, to get Mom bloggin? Hmmm....

Well I know I have lots more to say, but look at the time, must go to sleep!!! Will write more later...

Pictures will also come soon...
