WE FINALLY STARTED OUR OWN PAGE

Yeah!!! I did it...I finally started a blog page...So all the people who keep asking me to send pictures of the the family(especially the kids) you can now see them...This shall be fun...

For those who don't know what is going on with the Browns in Coeurd'Alene...Let me update you...

Vince and I were able to buy a home in September of 2007!!! We live in Coeurd'Alene Idaho, which we absolutely love...The house is a 70's home which Vince and I find a lot of fun. We will be remodeling when we can...Our hope is to start this Spring, but who knows we will have to take it one season at a time. Vince and I bought the house making sure that we could live and raise our kids in it the way it is. We bought in a neighborhood that unless you live there or have friends that live there you wouldn't even know it was there. With lots of old trees and quite streets...we are so very grateful for what we have.

Vince is doing great!!! He likes his job, he is very good at it, it can be a bit stressful at times but he weathers it very well. He plays drums at our church every other weekend, which keeps him busy, and the kids love to see there "Daddy" on stage!!! He has his very own fan club!!! Joel and Elle inform anyone who will listen that their Daddy is the drummer...They are quite proud!!! News that will shock all of you-Vince no longer has braces...He got them off on Halloween 2008!!! He looks great, the best part of it all is to finally see him smile, and not be embarrassed by his teeth or braces...It has been a long 6 years, but well worth it!!!

I am blessed everyday to be able to teach Joel at home!! Yes, yes we still "Homeschool" and loving it... Joel is amazing at whatever he does(yes I know I am his mom and I think he is amazing!) He teaches me everyday something new. We have great discussion on whether we could have gone about creating our country a better way, could we have built our country without slavery, could we as Joel said it, treated the Indians with more respect. There is really nothing for me to say about it other than the facts and let his heart decide on it. I do have to remind him that every country, every single one for that matter has done something that is bad, that the important thing is that we learn and move on from the mistakes and try and do what is right and asked of us now. He is very sensitive and has had a hard time on how we mistreated the Native Americans and African Americans. What amazes me about him is how deep of a thinker he is and how he takes things to heart. Anyway I find him amazing, but like I said I am his mother.

Joel is done playing flag football for the year, next year is Jr. Tackle football and he is ready, even if I am not...I actually love football, but I don't know if I will love Joel playing it!!! Joel can't decide if he wants to be a football player or a baseball player when he grows up. He goes back and forth, usually whatever he is playing in the moment! I keep telling him it is a big decision, he doesn't need to decide until at least another couple of years, but he looks at me like I don't know what I am talking about!!! Then a few minutes later he decides is going to be a professional skateboarder!!! Good Grief!!!

Now about our princess...The big event in her life is as of Oct. 31rst, she is now 5!!! She now is officially a "big girl"!!! Being 5 is a big deal for our family, that is the age where Grandpa and Grandma will take you camping and teach you how to fish. She has watched 4 of her cousins and her brother go on this big camping trip, and she has waited patiently(sometimes not so patiently)!!! She is such a fun, loving, and a bit sassy little girl!!! Excuse me "big girl" She of course has her Daddy right where she wants him!!! She is working on the Uncles, and unless whatever she is asking is not safe Grandpa always says "yes"!!!

She seems to be a very critical thinker!!! Loves to figure things out, and works hard at being very independent. Loves puzzles, coloring, flash cards, and of coarse legos(Daddy is so proud). I can't believe it but she will sit down and do a 150 piece puzzle all by her self, however it must be a princess puzzle!!! She and her Grandpa tease each other relentlessly!!! When describing her Grandpa she will inform you that "Grandpa is a big pill!" and then giggle...

I(Denise) am doing great as well!!! My Mom and I are starting off on a business adventure...Selling clothing on Ebay, we have done fairly well, and at the very least it keeps us busy. Most of my time goes to homeschooling, teaching 2 classes at our Homescooling CO-OP, Cubbie Leader for AWANAs, and working every other Sunday at our Church cafe!!! Besides all that there is always running to football practices, swimming lessons, and piano lessons. And as if I could forget HOUSEWORK!!! That being said I love being a Mom and wouldn't change a thing housework and all!!!

OK well now is the time to figure out pictures...so here I go!!!

Love to all-BROWNIES
